Re: Sunderland's Shopping Secret Is Out!

Well you know I don't mind shopping in any shop be it pound shops or charity shops. Sunderland is not too much of an affluent city so you expect cheaper shopping. That was always the secret here in Sunderland. What's important to realise is that Sunderland is still a bustling city, 80% of the shops ...

Re: Hull City Tigers 1-0 Sunderland

Nine man Sunderland played better in the second half. Anyone notice the protests on the second red card?

Both bad "tackles" and both red cards but they should have had a man sent off for the tackle on Johnson.

Re: Freak storm in Millfield, Sunderland

I was in Millfield, Sunderland yesterday when all of a sudden a freak storm crept up on me. The rain wasn't that heavy but the wind that came with it was incredible. I witnessed a few trees bend really badly all the dead leaves on them were blown off and the branches were blown backwards making the...

Re: Stand As An Independent Next Elections

I wouldn't vote for any of the [email protected]. Then you can't complain about how Sunderland is run or the state its in. The Tories would have sank us before now How do you know Sunderland wouldn't have been better off under Conservative? They hate knocking on my door because I tell them what they are. That'...

Re: Anyone here with a season ticket?

I can't get a season card this year to watch Sunderland because of commitments. In fact, I have not had a season card for a few years but I do manage between six and twelve games a season for league matches and the odd cup game.

Re: Man Utd bid for £60m Gareth Bale

Worth it? ... I doubt it! Absolute disgraceful amount of money when there is poverty all around us. In these days of austerity, when many people are suffering hardship and benefits are being cut etc why is it that massive sums of money are being passed about by these Champagne Charlies? From what I...
