Did we miss Max Power?

This is the SAFC Forum. You may chat about Sunderland AFC here together with any other footballing matters. Obviously, the Black Cats are the main focus. However, this is basically our football lounge.

Did we miss Max Power?

Post by Stokoe » 19 Sep 2018, 18:02

Just wondering whether we have missed Max Power for the last two games. I think we have and maybe that loss has deprived us of a point or two. If we get through this Rochdale game with three points, then Sunderland should toss him straight in for the Coventry game.
So, do you think the loss of Power for the Burton game lost us a point?

You could be right. We could have had at least another point and points make prizes.

At the end of the day its 11 men v 11 men.
I think Burton played third class football and are doomed to failure while we want to actually play football.
So how do you compete with a team that can't play football?
Saying that we went to play like Wimbledon of old :?
To get back to the question, yes I think we could possibly have gained at least one but point possibly three with Power.
Its all down to ifs and buts.
Back to my point ..... at the end of the day its 11 men v 11 men!

Yes we did miss Power and I think we did lose three points because of his straight red card. Naughty Max
