Coventry 1-1 Sunderland - 29/09/2018

This is our SAFC Forum of course. You may chat about Sunderland AFC here together with any other footballing matters. Obviously, the Black Cats are the main focus. However, this is basically our football lounge.

Coventry 1-1 Sunderland - 29/09/2018

English League One - Ricoh Arena - Kick off 12:30pm

One point for SAFC when the three were within our grasp.
Sunderland took the lead on 50 minutes from Lee Cattermole.
Coventry equalised on 68 minutes from Clarke-Harris.

A point away from home is normally acceptable so what do you think.

Sunderland starting XI: McLaughlin, Flanagan, Loovens, Baldwin, Gooch, Cattermole, Honeyman, McGeouch, Hume, Maguire, Maja
Sunderland substitutes: Ruiter, Ozturk, Matthews, Oviedo, Power, Sinclair, McGeady
What was that you said again?

I'll accept this point but with one eye on the teams near the top.

The result wasnt that bad as we are still 4th and have possibly the strongest team in the league. We will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

We had three internationals on the bench (not sure if they got on as I was away). We have sacked over 20 million quids worth of internationals this month alone. Its such a strange time at the mo.
Good result away from home and yes as long as the gap at the top doesn't get too much, then come January we just might be able to have a boost that will ensure promotion. The worst scenario would be for the lads to lose in a play off final.

Our last five games are Draw, Draw, Loss, Win, Draw. Obviously turning draws into wins is the aim starting at home to Peterborough. I might even get to that game
Jack will want this scalp badly thats for sure.

To be honest I would have accepted a point before the game.
