Sunderland vs Morecambe Checkatrade Cup

Post by Jenky »

We come top of our group after winning Morecambe 1-0 away so we go into the next round.
From what I gather the Sunderland supporters outnumbered the home fans by two to one
Good goal by Maja though in the first minute of injury time, hopefully someone can post it soon.

Boring game but a good win - 8 in a row now?

Any cup run that ends up with the lads winning a cup will do us good.
I saw this game and it was a bit dull at times.
I tell you what though, Jack Ross is making sure these games are being played when he had the option of postponing them.
He must have faith in the depth of the squad to allow the games to go ahead.
That bloke is heading for the big time and I hope this is with Sunderland.
