Sunderland v Accrington Stanley - 15/02/19
Sunderland v Accrington Stanley - 15/02/19
English League One | Stadium of Light | Kick off 7:45pm | Televised on Sky
Here we go then, 1-1 draw specialists have their second home game in just a few short days.
Sunderland are still the only team in England to score in every game but just can't score 2!
Tonight we play a small club and its almost embarrassing that we are playing teams like these.
However, we are where we are so we need to do it.
Looks like Jack Ross is going 4:4:2 so tonight will be interesting.
If the defence holds firm, we will be OK.
Sunderland starting XI: McLaughlin, O’Nien, Baldwin, Dunne, James, Gooch, Leadbitter, Honeyman, McGeady, Grigg, Wyke
SAFC substitutes: Ruiter, McGeouch, Cattermole, Flanagan, Power, Maguire, Morgan
Tonight, I can't see Sunderland getting beat.
I also expect Grigg to score at least 2 goals.

I also thing Grigg will score tonight cos this is when he shows what he's worth.
Accrington haven't scored since Boxing Day so I can't see them scoring but if they do it won't matter as we will bang them in watch this space

I am not at the match tonight so I will miss the goal feast
I want to hear about an early goal and then periodically throughout the game.
Well I can only hope.

So far it doesn't look like that will happen because we look like we have no shape.
We need the odd touch of quality or rather two touches for that to happen.
..... and Sunderland, the underdogs, are in the lead!

This has been a total let down so far. A crock of the proverbial. Jack Ross has to make changes now. Pathetic.
There's the half time whistle and we are getting beat at home off Accrington Blinking Stanley - Jeez.

Wyke has missed a sitter from 2 yards out - that's two certain goals missed because they were not on target.
