Elaboration on fatigue

Post by Zook »

First of all we gave our all against an in form Portsmouth and proved with better finishing (being unfair on their keeper maybe) we certainly could of been walking off the field after 90 mins 2pts better off and probably should of been. We are shot, barrel empty over the 50 minute mark. Im not complaining (really😁) I just think Jack could of used his/our squad better arguably over this last month. We haven't in my opinion utiliesed the squad too its full potential in terms of the high intense games we've had. This one up front does not suit our squad with the insistence of wide men jack seems to like...we are more times than not left wanting and are too predictable.... Mcgeady is to me needs to be involved more.... A number 10 would suit him into the ground at this level and be more imposing on the game instead of constantly hugging the line and not utilising his undoubted quality again at this level... £4 million for a player who in his own admittance has never been fit as long as he can remember was also a bollocks dropped... The legs have gone, inexperience is of an abundance. The one bright spot is we haven't regressed any further and I truly believe this will only make the young lads more experienced and determined next season, regardless what happens... Good luck lads... We can only hope for the best... 🙏

Zak.

Thanks for your thoughts but I just think the players are not good enough (not all of them).
As a team they are just average third division players.
Yes I would like to see us go up but these draw specialists are just not up to it.
I am really, really not looking forward to the nightmare play offs one bit.
I have lost confidence in the team as a whole but not Jack Ross because he had a difficult job on his hand.
Come back to this post after the play offs - its gonna be a let down but again I hope we manage it.

Substitute inexperience for useless and we have a deal

Just looked at the table and its really hard to make judgement on who will go up automatically. Obviously we will win our last two games so it might go right up to quarter to five for this to sort itself out.
