Nah, 50/50 ball and he won the ball, no contact with opposing player. Their player should have took a yellow card.

I am not a betting man but if there is an appeal in, the lad will win this one.

Look at it again... Ozturk goes to ground... Does the Portsmouth player..
Re: Sunderland v Portsmouth Play Offs First Leg
If the panel decides in our favour great, I'll stand corrected. It's just my opinion. I still say most of the supporters would be saying "definitely a sending off" if it was at the other end... I try and say things as I see them, not specifically what I want them to be.

I did and see a fair challenge of the ball we got there first the Pompey player should have been sent off for diving anyway the panel thinks like most others and have overturned the red card

Re: Sunderland v Portsmouth Play Offs First Leg
The referee in this case thought so but then again the referee's rule book is as thick as war and peace.
I never thought it was a red card incident from when I saw it on the day.
Just because an opposing player falls over its not automatically a foul or penalty etc.
What was that you said again?

Obviously not. I stand corrected. I am surprised however.thingamajig wrote: ↑13 May 2019, 23:31The referee in this case thought so but then again the referee's rule book is as thick as war and peace.
