Delayed Shock At Missing Out On Promotion

The shock of the way last season panned out has just really sank in.
We were so close, even just winning the last two or three games would have done it.
And then there's the cup game thrown away in the last few minutes.

Basically we have the knack of throwing things away in the end.
So near but yet so far.

The reality is we were not good enough.
It's real and correct - we are a third division club and will be in the First Division for at least one more season.
Get used to it!
