Lee burge

This is the SAFC Forum. You may chat about Sunderland AFC here together with any other footballing matters. Obviously, the Black Cats are the main focus. However, this is basically our football lounge.

Coventry fans can't believe we've signed him... But with no money to spend it looks like getting rid of decent players and bringing in this type of shite is going to be the norm from now... At this rate, don't even consider half way nevermind promotion.

Sunderland can't afford to linger in this division too much.
At first I didn't accept what happened but I guess we need to fasten up and take this ride head on.
If Ross can pick the best of the crop freebies included then we will be ok, if we don't do it this season I will start to worry.
Apparently Lee Burge was a regular so he has experience.

Point taken but, should we be aiming a bit higher with this big budget Donald's keeps going on about... Free agents and loan players bring absolutely nothing in terms of assets... Over the last two seasons we have had £35 million from parachute payments... £24 of which went to pay off Ellis short... We could of been with that money challenging for premiership status again... We are at this moment in time going to be lucky to finish mid table... Imo

Yeah, I can only see him as cover unless our number one goes the journey.
