This is the SAFC Forum. You may chat about Sunderland AFC here together with any other footballing matters. Obviously, the Black Cats are the main focus. However, this is basically our football lounge.

After last season it is a piss poor strike force.
Confidence is one thing but they were bad so if we rely on them again this season we are in trouble IMHO.

What was that you said again?

Get used to it because unless one moves on we are not getting a replacement.

HT.

0 - 0

Definitely should be well (2 or 3) in front... Watmore, Grigg and Embleton missing good chances.

1 - 0 down 58 mins... I wouldn't care we've been by far the better side... Embleton has caught the eye... Ganna be a goodun for someone him when Donald cashes in on him.

FT

1 - 0

A much quieter affair in the second half in terms of chances. A good work out with some typical of an early pre-season sloppy Ness in front of goal. We played a very high line and pressed well up the field for the first hour before a barrage of changes... Better team lost in all fairness. Pleased at the end of the day with the high tempo pressing... Seemed to suit us.
