Why don't they sponsor other leagues further down, rather than just the Premiership league?

Spread the cash about a bit more, maybe it might make for a better competition if it isn't all confined to one league.

I am all for attracting money to the Premier League and that's what makes it the best in the world so long may that continue.
Saying that, you are correct Steve, without a doubt because there are many clubs below the Prem who would fit in better in the top flight - Sunderland being just one.
But, there are loads of others.

It just seems that the present top clubs are happy to allow some of the (potentially) bigger clubs to suffer because it keeps their competition down.
In the case of Sunderland, we might not be able to achieve similar to what Manchester City done because of the constraints.
It's about time the FA took a look at things to allow healthier competition.
Obviously the rewards for an investor in one of the massive clubs in the lower leagues would give a good return if they manage the club correctly.
Clubs like Sunderland and say Leeds United would grace the Premier League instead of teams like Burnley, Brighton, and Norwich etc.
Talk about a protection racket!

There's too much emphasis on the Premiership like.

Aye but we loved the coverage when we were up there.

Its not so much the coverage, but the fact that all the money is in one league.

Bury would never have gone under if the money was moe evenly distributed, instead its an "I'm Areet Jack" attitude from one league, stuff the rest of us

They simply didn't care about that club and they don't care about us either.

Its not exactly a fair competition anymore, is it?

All the money is ringfenced off.

If you think that's good for football though...

But how can things change?
Surely the FA should be able to act.

Why would they?
It's a monopoly worth a load of money to all involved.

No, Bury wouldn't of went under if the club was run properly.... All the other league one and two clubs haven't gone under... Donald is slowly doing the same here...
