He gave him a 2 and half year contract. Seeing as he was the cheapest available, he shouldn't have any problem in sacking him..
Be careful what you wish for because this is the result of one wish to sack Ross

Sacking Ross wasn't the problem, and no one wanted parkinson either.. Apart from Donald, because he was the cheapest available, not the best available.

I beg to differ. Jack Ross was sacked because of the fans. That was the root of the current plight and our poor position in the league. Stewart Donald done the right thing then and he will have to do it again but it's the Sunderland supporters who will get Phil Parkinson the sack. We got what we wished for then (sacking Ross) and now we are going to get this other wish come true. I am sure that now we would all prefer the steady ship with Ross the boss but unfortunately we turned on him. By the way I want to see Parky go but this is such a crucial period in the history of SAFC and we are not going to get a Klopp.

Suggesting klopp is absurd. I seriously doubt any fan is thinking of that calibre.. 😐

A manager that can get the best out of the players, attacks, and has some flipping ambition would be a start.

Barney has made things worse
