If no one else comes in (hypothetically)

This is the SAFC Forum. You may chat about Sunderland AFC here together with any other footballing matters. Obviously, the Black Cats are the main focus. However, this is basically our football lounge.

We've had the best squad in this league for 2 seasons - on paper.
We are only just seeing their full potential though. If Parky continues with the improvements they are going to reach their full potential. Not only that but you have to assume they are looking for improvements from all players not just the first team.

PHIL PARKINSON will make a midfield addition his number one priority in the final week of the transfer window, with Greg Docherty and Oliver Norburn still heading his list of targets.

Parkinson has also held discussions with Manchester United over teenager James Garner, with the Old Trafford club set to raid Sunderland’s youth ranks to land highly-rated 16-year-old Logan Pye.

Having recruited Kyle Lafferty and Bailey Wright this month, Parkinson remains keen to complete another coup.

It'll be one or the other imo.

Docherty
Or
Norburn
Or
Garner
