Were we not 15th at one point?thingamajig wrote: ↑29 Jan 2020, 21:45Yes indeed.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑29 Jan 2020, 21:42 We are back up to 5th in the league and in a good position to start playing leap frog.
Do it quietly lads
After being 13th? in the league and the lowest position in Sunderland's history, getting back up there was a little bit of a miracle.
We have games in hand and have momentum.
Top two is definitely on.
Next up Pompey and we owe them a good hiding.

I replied to this then my post disappeared
I said I thought it was 13th but if it was 15th then it makes our recovery all the more sweeter.
Then I said that although that might be true it's a blot on the club's history.
Well something along them lines
What was that you said again?

The game tonight has proven we can play on a bad pitch although it could be said it was that to blame.
If Portsmouth have a decent playing surface and we take the game to them, we could get revenge here

..... and Sunderland, the underdogs, are in the lead!

Can't argue with that but this might change after the Portsmouth game

Not really, our unbeaten run has to come to an end and we all know Portsmouth will be hyped up for this game.Bus Driver wrote: ↑29 Jan 2020, 22:30Can't argue with that but this might change after the Portsmouth game
A draw would be canny like but I think the fans will appreciate the run we've had so far.
A win down at Pompey will be something special though.
