Club sale update

Post by Steve30000 »

https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2020/2 ... interested

Bloomberg are reporting that Sunderland are up for sale for £40m - with at least two serious buyers interested, and that the hope is that the club will be sold by the end of February.

The report says ‘people with knowledge of the matter’ have told Bloomberg that Stewart Donald is looking for £40m for the sale of the club and that the Sunderland chairman is currently in serious talks with two potential buyers.

Does anyone know how much the club was sold for? How much Donald put his hand in his pocket? Looks like he is planning to make a packet here.

How long does due diligence take?

I don't think it would be possible to sell the club in 3 weeks time.
