DAVY JONES' LOCKEROOM: Kevin Phillips - Sunderland Legend
Kevin Phillips Interview - Sunderland Legend - Davy Jones comes up trumps again.
To many people, Kevin Phillips will be their favourite player and it's not surprising.
Super Kev and Niall Quinn were lethal when they fronted for SAFC.
He got the European Golden Shoe in the 1999-2000 season with 30 goals for Sunderland in the Premiership.
Super Kevin Phillips (SKP) remains the only Englishman to win that trophy.
SKP played 208 games for Sunderland AFC and scored 113 goals for the club between 1997–2003.
Obviously in this interview he speaks a lot about his career on Wearside - both at Roker Park and the Stadium of Light.
Yes it's that long ago

This is going to be the beefy one
I am all settled with my feet up watching it now
Super Kev v Marco Gabbiadini - both living legends that I couldn't separate with a fag paper

We are lucky to have seen Quinn and Phillips with Magic Johnston and Nicky Summerbee on the wings.
Formidable.

I have thought long and hard over the years about these two strikers and I don't think I could say one was better than the other.
In them we have two living legends.
In a bit

Different eras with different style of play Terry.
Both have merits and it's hard to separate them but I think SKP just pips it.

Why is SKP just a legend and not a LEG END
