The most depressing day ever while supporting Sunderland
The most depressing day ever while supporting Sunderland
Yesterday, 07/11/2020, must go down as the lowest point in my time supporting SAFC.
The lads played Mansfield in the first round of the FA Cup and were duly knocked out.
Mansfield Town are hovering around the bottom of the lowest tier in English football but come to the Stadium of Light and punished us.
It was a bad day indeed and I have witnessed some bad times at the club so forgive me if I temporarily withdraw my support for this shower.
Phil Parkinson has had his time here to show us what he can do, this man now has to go, no ifs and buts.

Re: The most depressing day ever while supporting Sunderland
Funnily enough, going down into this division didn't hurt too much because I always thought we could get straight back up.
The very first time that we dropped into this league was the lowest point while supporting the lads ..... until now.
This has to be the worst time ever to support Sunderland AFC and I would agree that this result just sums it all up.
Most depressing day in the club's history? Maybe.
I can't think of any more humiliating results/days.

It was a cup game but all the same, we are in a right mess.

There's still a little way down that we could go so let's hope that don't happen.
