If he can command from the back and communicate well unlike Budgie then he might be the man for the job ahead.
He will wait for his opportunity to show what he is made of.

What was that you said again?

But do you change a settled, hungry team like that?
Unless the agreement is that he must play then he will have to wait his chance like every other player.
I bet he isn't in the starting eleven next week unless there is injuries or as I suspect, its part of the contract.

We must think he's better than burge and Patterson, otherwise we wouldn't have bothered getting another keeper.Crawford wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 18:13But do you change a settled, hungry team like that?

The only concern will be needing him to get to know the players and the defence, but that's what training exercises are for.

Cover that's all but obviously, all scenarios will be assessed.Steve30000 wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 18:47

I have no doubt they will hoy him in at some point and there he will stay for the rest of the season.

He looks like a man mountain and if he has what it takes in training then why not throw him into the fire immediately?
After all, most of us believe that the goalkeeping position needs strengthening.
