Gillingham vs Sunderland - Team Sheet, Result & Reviews

English League One | Priestfield Stadium | Kick-off 3pm
Weather: cloudy but mild

Sunderland AFC starting XI: Hoffmann, Winchester, Flanagan, Doyle, Cirkin, O'Nien, Neil, Embleton, Pritchard, O'Brien, Stewart
SAFC substitutes: Burge, Wright, Hume, Harris, Sohna, Wearne, Younger

Here we go then, back to league action and a more recognisable team ;)

Sunderland is 4th in the league but have games in hand.
Can the Black Cats take 3 points off The Gills away from home today to make sure we are still up there with the leading pack?

I say we will win it 3-1 :red-white:

O'Nien foul - they score from a penalty.

Sunderland are not in this one and the gills have something to hang on to. To be blunt, it's us who are hanging on. Terrible stuff this.

I am a big O'Nien fan but today he has been pathetic.

Sorry, Luke, but unless you do something to make amends, this is not good enough!

He is having a stinker so I hope Lee Johnson can look into giving him a different roll of something.
I'd like to see him score a brace or a hat-trick now though :red_yes:
