Just as Sunderland is going through a bad time on the pitch as well.
We have an important game tonight and have lost our best player.
According to Sky Sports News that I just saw Adam Johnson has been bailed until the 18th March 2015.
That's a long time away from the club in our hour of need.
Today, the Sunderland Echo has the Adam Johnson Factfile which takes a look at Adam Johnson's career.
To me that stinks.
The police or whoever have managed to get his name in the open for something he may not have done.
The local papers seem all to pleased with reporting it all too.
Now The Echo has printed key moments in his life.
Looks like they think its all over.
..... and Sunderland, the underdogs, are in the lead!
Adam Johnson's partner, Stacy Flounders who is from Hartlepool, is standing by him and her mother says they are still together. Her family are all behind him and Stacey's mother also says "he is 100% innocent".
I am getting a bit worried as to how all this will affect Adam Johnson's career.
There is no doubt that Adam Johnson is the best football player that Sunderland have on their books.
He makes things happen on the pitch.
In these vital last few games of the season we are going to miss his services that's for sure.
I am more worried as to why this information was ever passed into the public domain!
