Five in a row plane
Around £1,000 was raised by some Sunderland supporters to get a plane to carry a banner over St. James Park on Sunday 19th April 2015. The banner, which read "5 in a row Sunderland" was a dig at the Newcastle fans after Sunderland won them for five times in a row.
The plane was seen flying over the Newcastle football stadium while NUFC were playing Spurs. This was a televised match and the TV cameras focused on it as it flew past.
Many fans were for it and many were against it. No doubt if Sunderland go down the Magpies will do one of their own for the start of the new season in August.
It was a game that many Newcastle supporters boycotted as part of the Ashley out campaign.
The game ended Newcastle 1-3 Spurs.

Whats done is done.
Lets hope they don't get a chance to fly one past the Stadium of Light.

What was that you said again?
Re: Five in a row plane
Nowt like a bit of a daft laugh. I hope we all understand the plane may make an appearance soon over the Stadium of Light in another rival gesture.
