Sunderland has had a two week break like other Premiership teams to make way for the England internationals. In that time Sunderland has signed Borini
Will this lad set SAFC up for an exciting future? It waits to be seen.

Sunderland were very unlucky today. Defoe hit the post and it was a lack of concentration that led to their goal. That is the definition of unluck because on another day ..…..

Good football but what is it about Sunderland?
They can't seem to score when they are on top.
Shame about Defoe missing his opportunity because that could have secured the points for us.
If we can go away and play badly but nick the winning goal I would accept that but can't accept playing well but getting beat.
Most Sunderland supporters stayed until the final whistle even though they knew they would probably not get the equaliser. It was an appreciation of the improvement in the football being played by the lads. Just maybe this "new look Sunderland" can get its act together but don't expect SAFC to be challenging for the title this season.
