Dick Advocaat: New Look Sunderland

This is the SAFC Forum. You may chat about Sunderland AFC here together with any other footballing matters. Obviously, the Black Cats are the main focus. However, this is basically our football lounge.

Defensively, Sunderland are pretty sound but the forwards seemingly don't do the team justice. I am sure we can bang a few goals in soon though. The team hasn't really settled yet.

I would give it a few weeks yet. I thought after the international break the Sunderland players would gel and click. While other teams came out of the traps faster Sunderland will have to play catch up again.

A new look football team will never do very well to begin with. It wouldn't be Sunderland if we didn't play catch up come Christmas.

Sorry, but this season I have gone off Dick Advocaat. The results have been bad and the style of play is rubbish.

How long will it take before Dick Advocaat's new look Sunderland will become a force to be reckoned with? Time is ticking!

On Saturday I heard him say he may have to change his system and go on the defensive. That, to me, is a confession that his style of play is not going to work. I think the majority of people are still on Dick Advocaat's side but can't se this being the case at Christmas should Sunderland be in the bottom three.
