Another fine display from the Sunderland footballers from the Under 21's side. In a week when the Under 18's beat Newcastle away we have the Under 21's beat Manchester City at home. Unfortunately the first team got beat off Bournemouth
Don't let that distract us from the youth teams who seem to be doing the business as well as the Sunderland Women's team don't forget.
This game was played at Eppleton Colliery Football Ground on Hetton-le-Hole, City of Sunderland. The result puts the Under 21's in second place in their league.

Another fine win for a Sunderland team.
Shame the first team are not putting their act together.

Can't complain when any Sunderland side beats the opposition.
Personally I think Dick Advocaat should think about looking at some of the options he has from the younger SAFC players.
Previous managers have took a chance by thowing the odd one in the deep end.
What harm can it do as long as you have a decent substitute to display should the plan not work.

I don't expect nothing less than a good show from the young Sunderland football players - these are the ones fighting to win a place in the first team. The first teamers should be looking over their shoulder all the time.

Omen for tomorrow
If the Sunderland kids can beat Manchester City kids then surely when they water their side down tomorrow night in the Carling Cup game, our first team squad can shine.
