When the lockdown eases off, what's the first thing you'll do?

The Sunderland Forum is all about local issues. The City of Sunderland includes Washington, Houghton and Hetton. However, we allow news, views and gossip from all areas surrounding Wearside.

You can and I know a half a dozen places like this.

People are getting restless and campaigning against the lockdown.
Not be long before the pubs open again

So "herd immunity" our way out of it?

What I saw recently suggests that 17% of Londoners have the antibodies suggesting that they already had coronavirus.
Outside London the figure is 5%.
Herd immunity will take ages because they need 60-80% of us to have had it first and they can't ignore the lockdown because the NHS would collapse.
Given what we have had to put up with thus far I am not sure people will put up with it for a long period of time in order to achieve 60-80% immunity.

But people want to socialise.
I think locking people up for the Summer months wont work the way they want it.
