Rats in Sunderland

Post by blockheed »

Anyone else noticed the amount of rats on the streets of Sunderland are on the increase?
They are all over the back lanes in Hendon.
Also, I notice them daily scurrying around Kwik Fit area at the Wheatsheaf in broad daylight
We bought a McDonald's over there as well and had a munch in the car park opposite and there were more rats.
I bet the council know but prefer to turn a blind eye.

You noticed as well
I noticed them just beside the gable end where the garage is at the top of Roker Avenue. They don't seem to mind the traffic in broad daylight.

Rats are horrible things to have in built up areas.
I saw one in Burdon Village last year.

I haven't seen a rat in over a year but I have seen a mouse in the house.

I might have the day off today!
