Yes, I had a pint in The Albert in Fawcett Street but I don't go out on a Sunday so no quiz for me
Some bar stools are a bit naff but some of the seats are really comfortable.

This Sunday Night is the Big Bank Holiday Quiz at the Albert in Sunderland City Centre (Fawcett Street just opposite Wilkos/Post Office). Its a great bar in the heart of the city centre.

Usual start time of 7.30pm, but with extra prizes in our new "Last Team Standing Game". The jackpot is also at £125ish, there are cash prizes for the quiz and plenty of free beer tokens to give away.

We are expecting a busy night so make sure you reserve your table (just pop me a message) and I hope to see you there! If you want to book a table pop me an email to fully234@hotmail.com otherwise just turn up on the night.

A fun quiz night on Sunday with plenty of teams taking part. A close call for the main prizes but no one managed to win the Jackpot so next week we are close to £150-£160 to giveaway!

The Peacock - New Quiz Night - Starts 11th September

Post by DanielFullard »

Just a quick message to mention a new Quiz Night starting up in Sunderland City Centre. After the success of my quiz in The Albert (which runs every Sunday from 7.30pm) I will be starting up at The Peacock on Tuesday September 11th at 7.30pm.

Plenty of prizes, beer tokens and food to win and the quiz should all be wrapped up by 10pm!

Hope to see some of you there, if you fancy coming along please pop me a message and I can reserve a table!

Never heard of The Peacock. I sometimes visit the town on Tuesdays so perhaps the OP can enlighten us where The Peacock Pub is?

I might have the day off today!

Hi guys

The Peacock used to be known as the Londonderry. City centre not too far from Empire Theatre

I like to see the pubs in town doing well because they have had such a bad few years recently. The Londonderry area of town is not where I normally visit mind.
