Just got my Poll Tax bill for 2019 in the post.
Its gone up by 5.2%
That's not the rate of inflation so they are going over the top here like.

They need the money to pay for the roads and the police if I remember correctly

Mine went up by the same amount I just got a bill this morning.
Rate of inflation now is just over 2% so how come these 'services' are going up 5.2%
Surely that is adding to inflation
