How are you celebrating Brexit Day?

The Sunderland Forum is all about local issues. The City of Sunderland obviously includes, Washington, Houghton and Hetton. However, we allow news, views and gossip from all areas surrounding Wearside.

Tell me this Trish. Why have you been boasting about disposing of Labour in Millfield and 3 Lib-Dem councillors while at the same time voting Brexit. Isn't this a bit hypocritical since the Lib-Dems said they would not ask the people again and just scrap Brexit? That was their first priority in their manifesto. I am finding this strange to say the least.

The local election is a completely different thing isn't it.
Now we have councillors who actually work for the local area here and there's been a load of improvements since Labour went.
Brexit is a different issue altogether but on many other local issues the Labour Party ignored the people.
They now know that by ignoring the people we can vote them out and we did.

Completely true and it was the same when we voted in the Euro elections. The British people are not that dumb as we saw. It's just the left-wingers who try and dictate to us. They are the new fascists as we recently saw as well.
