Re: Total number of Coronavirus victims in Sunderland and the UK
There's less people needing hospital treatment because of this virus, less people getting critically ill, less people dying in hospital.... But more people testing positive.
I thought the reason for the lockdowns were to ease the pressure on the NHS?
If more people end up getting it but don't need hospital treatment then there's no need for the panic, surely? There's bound to be more cases anyway if you test a lot more people, you'll end up finding a lot of of people who do have it but show no symptoms.
Just do what we have been doing, isolate for 2 weeks if positive.

I wonder if the rumour is true that the hospitals are mostly empty with staff standing around doing nothing?
It's only what others are saying.

If the deaths don't rise dramatically, then do we still crack on with North Korean rules?Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑07 Sep 2020, 15:57 Today, Sunderland has or has had 1971 cases of COVID-19.

Covid Marshalls telling people what to do.
Police counting people to make sure there isn't 6 together.
What next, masks on everywhere you go 24/7... Even outside?
Anymore crackpot laws to impose?
Why can't we just tell people to be sensible, instead of treating us all like kids?
