It will not be because of the lifting of the restrictions because they didn't kick in for a while.
Even then it takes a good few weeks for any spike to happen.
Maybe they relaxed the testing program?

People seeing these figures could have took their eyes off the ball but the disease was still running around unchecked.

Trust nobody and never take your eyes off the ball.
I don't want the lurgy and will do my best to avoid it but I am not too bothered because you can only do your best.
People really should stay alert until we are given the all clear ....... in about 10 years from now :whistle:

Totals have been issued up to and including today.

Sunderland has 1,777 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Last report I gave was 12 days ago where we had 1,763 cases - that's only a rise of 14.
