Fly-tipping in the Sunderland countryside at Burdon

Fly-tipping in the Sunderland countryside at Burdon

While on a trip up to Burdon Village, near Doxford Park, I came across some rubbish on the country road.
I took a picture or two and spoke to a nice old gent who was also slightly shocked by this mess.
The elderly man thinks it could be local people who think they have had a proper company come to remove their waste.
Rather that pay the rate at the council dump, the cowboy builders or waste disposal imposters preferred to make a mess of the Sunderland countryside.

If you identify the rubbish, do the right thing and report them please because this is just not on.

It's easier to dispose of it properly though.

Only councillors appear in images like these
Now there's a thought .................

Update: just came from Burdon today and it looks like the council (I presume) have cleared the rubbish away.

In this case, I wonder how much it cost the taxpayer to have a van and workers go up there and clear it up?

Filthy rats.

If it didn't take long to clear this mess up, I would like to know how many times does this happen that we don't know about?
The other question would be what is the cost of clearing up all fly-tipping over a year in the City of Sunderland?
