Coronavirus Testing Stations

Post by Sunderland Nut »

They must consider Sunderland as being a coronavirus hotspot because the NHS testing stations are all over the town.
Latest one I saw is where they built the new fire station at the Gill.
I dread to see the new figures because before all these stations there was a lot anyway.
That's about the 5th coronavirus station I've seen unless they are mobile ones and are moving around town.
They look like drive-ins.

Wonder how many people have used it? Do they publish these figures on a local level, or is it a secret?

Nobody using it when I was there but loads of workers having laugh and some with no masks on :o
They publish the figures but I've not seen any on a local micro-scale ie Millfield etc.

There is another coronavirus testing station on European Way in Pallion close to Rolls Royce.
All the testing stations have the notice:

"No appointment
No admission"

They are catching those with symptoms but we all know that you might not get symptoms for days and in that time you've passed it on to loads.

I want to see anti-body testing stations rather than these monstrosities.
