Then that's where an effective track and trace programme comes in.. "world class" says Boris..Nockya wrote: ↑25 Oct 2020, 11:09We can stop it dead again if we want and it would take 2 weeks of a hard lockdown.Steve30000 wrote: ↑24 Oct 2020, 23:00
Maybe if we all followed their lead, we'd get it under control?
Then what?
We still have to come out of our bunker to face it again.

Who on their right mind is going to download an app that's going to trace your every move?
Now they are saying they'll pass your medical data onto the police.
Bugger that for a lark, they are getting not one bit of my data.

Do you not think it's too late by the time that symptoms appear?

Like I've said before, the only way to get this under real control is to test everyone, symptoms or not.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑26 Oct 2020, 04:57I didn't know there was a difference.Steve30000 wrote: ↑26 Oct 2020, 00:15

Re: Coronavirus Testing Stations
That would have to be done every day and even if we done this one million times a day it would take monthsSteve30000 wrote: ↑26 Oct 2020, 11:50

Each test costs a lot of money, I heard it was thousands
We need to start deciding which direction this country needs to go and not go on as if a vaccine will solve all these problems.
If we rely on a vaccine and it doesn't come then they need to get their thinking caps on.

I'd like to know as well but apparently we don't know if the anti-bodies stay with us for life yet.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑26 Oct 2020, 18:43I would get an anti-body test but not the other.Steve30000 wrote: ↑26 Oct 2020, 11:50

Re: Coronavirus Testing Stations
One report says they don't, but the body remembers any infection through your white blood cells anyway. (t-cells).
As far as I'm aware, the body only produces antibodys as long as the infection is there to fight off, then it wanes. Then the body remembers this for next time, so you lose the antibodies but not the memory of how to fight it off.
