One-Third of Sunderland Folk Now Vaccinated!
Anyone else got a leaflet from the city council today entitled "Supporting Sunderland" (Spring 2021)?
It basically is confirming the 4 stages out of the lockdown.
The "stay at home" rule ends on the 29th March so that's good.
The bit that interests me is where the council are also saying that over 100,000 people in Sunderland have now been jabbed against Covid-19.
Our city has a population of 300,000 people so this is one-third of the residents vaccinated.
That's some going, isn't it!

Not sure what's happening but if the vaccinations continue we will all be offered the vaccine and that should be that.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑28 Mar 2021, 21:22 There's still loads of new infections every day so are the oldies OK and the young ones just passing it around themselves

If we knock holidays abroad on the head until they can get into our position regarding the vaccine rollout, then there's a much less chance of these scarients ruining it for us.Trish wrote: ↑28 Mar 2021, 21:42Not sure what's happening but if the vaccinations continue we will all be offered the vaccine and that should be that.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑28 Mar 2021, 21:22 There's still loads of new infections every day so are the oldies OK and the young ones just passing it around themselves

Judging by the past few days, the government will not be able to keep people apart for too much longer.

Unless the police start throwing their weight around, and force people apart.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑04 Apr 2021, 05:19 Judging by the past few days, the government will not be able to keep people apart for too much longer.
