Local Council Elections For Sunderland - May 2021
I have finished the results for the Sunderland Council Elections for this year (2021).
You can find all the results on the mother site right here.
It shows that the Labour Party has lost 9 seats to the Conservatives and Lib-Dems (they lost 6 in 2019 as well).
Sunderland Council is now made up of the following:
Labour Party (42 seats) -9
Conservative (18 seats) +6
Lib Dems (12 seats) +4
UKIP (3 seats) – no change
Green Party (0 seats) -1

Re: Local Council Elections For Sunderland - May 2021
Hartlepool has its first Conservative MP since the early 1970s when the seat first came into being.
Sunderland is waking up slowly to what the Labour Party are all about as well.
Gone are the days when stupid phrases persuaded people to vote as they did like Conservative is for the rich and Labour for the working class.
All that was just spin like everything else in politics.
I can't wait for the day when we get rid of these lazy people who are getting a lot of money for doing very little.
I also can't wait to see those overweight freaks crying again about losing all this ground.
Hats off to Hartlepool, proud of ya
Come on Sunderland, wake up!

We got rid of the Labour Party in Millfield and started that about 5 years ago and they still have the neck to leaflet near the elections

The locals are always different in many ways because the candidate is usually on your doorstep.Steve30000 wrote: ↑08 May 2021, 17:26 Imo, it doesn't seem to matter who you vote for...
