And here's me thinking the Lib-Dems had no balls.
Well, they might just have won my vote next time around.

The airport renaming is long overdue, just like the renaming of the local BBC radio etc etc etc.

Shame on the Labour Party who have been in control for 60 years.
I bet they start to work for the city now people are going against them big time!

Deprive Sunderland for 60 years and watch the place being destroyed then finally get some funding from the central government :lolboard:
Labour has duffed it and I can't wait to see the fatties cry even more when they eventually get kicked into touch.
Slam dunk and Labour out!

Vote for the Liberals then and see how they whinge about things are you forgetting that they opposed the 1973 squad for becoming freemen of the city because of the huge costs associated with it. After all it was a lot at ................. 35k!

The thing is Ken, the Labour Party today is not like the party of old.
You simply can't be loyal and faithful to something that has changed beyond recognition.
People have had enough of politics in general but the Labour Party are not for the majority of us now.

The Labour Party have hardly ever been in power compared to the Tories and that's all time.
AND they were still to this day showing signs of being more akin to a communist party, especially under Corbyn.
The core supporters are still like this so the party is a dangerous one.
It's also dangerous to have the same party controlling the council for 60 years like us.
Without competition, you just have dictators thinking they know best.
Time for people to change their opinions and keep them on their toes.

Come election time, read the literature and vote for what you think is best - if they don't deliver on what they say - VOTE THEM OUT!

The Lib-Dems are just like Labour on steroids anyway but good luck whoever you vote for.
