The Sunderland Forum is all about local issues. The City of Sunderland obviously includes, Washington, Houghton and Hetton. However, we allow news, views and gossip from all areas surrounding Wearside.

No because UKIP have took their votes.
UKIP are more successful than the BNP were.
UKIP's policy is very similar so anyone who used to vote BNP can now vote UKIP.
Their main policies are:
  • Withdraw from the EU
    Controlled immigration
    Tougher on crime
    Keeping the pound forever
There are many more and you can read them all here: http://www.ukip.org/policies_for_people

Years ago it would be Lib-Lab-Con and now its UKIP-Lab-Con. I don't think many will vote Lib-Dems since they crawled into bed with the Tories.

UKIP are getting much publicity.
I know they are becoming mainstream and so are newsworthy but the Lib-Dems, even though they are in power with the Tories are almost never mentioned. Not that I am complaining as I would never vote Lib-Dems :D

..... and Sunderland, the underdogs, are in the lead!
