The Labour Party Leadership Contest

Post by Mawsey »

The Labour Party Leadership Contest:

I think the Labour leadership articles all over the papers and television is getting a bit boring now. However, I will discuss it because this area is a "Labour Hotbed" :D

They seem to be going for the left-wing candidate Jeremy Corbyn. He is an old style socialist with what could be considered extreme in comparison to the parties of today whose policies seem to be so alike.

Apparently there are some hard-liner left-wing activists who have infiltrated the campaign and are doing their best to get Mr Corbyn into number 10.

There appears to be some degree of worry amongst many in the Labour Party itself and even the opposition because of the views that Corbyn holds. Many don't know where the money will come from if some of his spending type policies are implemented.

Jeremy Corbyn, the left wing politician has won this Labour leadership contest :o
It will come as a shock to many, apparently but I don't know as I have no real interest in this sort of stuff but it is breaking news.

Apparently Corbyn has won by a landslide victory with 59.5% of the vote. Many within the Labour Party have said it could mark the end of Labour.

Get ready for another Conservative victory in the next General Election, whenever that may be :?
