Oooooh those Nazi enforcement officers
How would the residents of Seaburn feel if they couldn't park where they wanted
It doesn't bother me really as I am pretty mobile.
Do the residents of Seaburn own the road outside their doors?

..... and Sunderland, the underdogs, are in the lead!

The residents of Seaburn don't own the bit of road outside their doors. Neither do the residents of Southwick and other areas around the Stadium of Light, nor do the residents of Millfield and Pallion around the Royal Hospital. Sunderland council are doing their best to help the residents in areas where congestion and inconsiderate parking would cause annoyance to the residence. Well done Sunderland City Council.

I was down the lights at the weekend and say the big wheel lit up from the Roker Hotel area and it was a great sight and everything was lit up.

Well done to Sunderland Council for getting the illuminations together again this year. People don't realise what must go into this to get it up and running.

I might have the day off today!

Less than 2 weeks to go before the end of the Sunderland Illuminations.
Go for it - you will not regret it.
You will need stacks of cash to enjoy it fully though.
