Re: Hylton Road Spruce Up
I hate Hylton Road until I get up to the Round Robin then its ok.
Shutters on the shops are similar to shops all over the UK.
There really isn't a lot you can do with it.

Re: Hylton Road Spruce Up
The shops at bottom end of Hylton Road seem to be always busy, they must be with the amount of parked vehicles there daily.
So commercially it must be pretty sound.
I like the second-hand shops and maybe that idea of keeping it like that and encouraging a sort of a second-hand market would be good in my opinion.

I would just leave the road as it is because not all "improvements" are good.

Re: Hylton Road Spruce Up
I was up Hylron Road today and the nasty bump near the cemetery has gone as well as a few more.
Whether they put them back is another matter.
As for the bottom end with the second hand shops they could encourage a few more because they do come in handy.

Re: Hylton Road Spruce Up
They put the speed humps there for whatever reason years ago so the likelihood is they will put them back after they repaired the road.
