Meanwhile Back In Sunderland

The Sunderland Forum is all about local issues. The City of Sunderland obviously includes, Washington, Houghton and Hetton. However, we allow news, views and gossip from all areas surrounding Wearside.

Meanwhile Back In Sunderland

Post by Mighty Quinn » 12 Aug 2013, 18:22

We now have the great documentary Meanwhile Back In Sunderland posted in the blog.

Its here also but without the write up. Let us know your memories of this special day. The day when Sunderland went to Wembley as the underdogs in the 1973 FA Cup final and won the Mighty Leeds United 1-0.

It's all dated but well worth keeping.

Thanks for this collection. I remember when I first saw it on TV all those years ago. Excellent stuff.

Meanwhile back in Sunderland - a good title for a documentary really when the lads went to Wembley.

Shame the potential for the team at that time wasn't fulfilled.

Always enjoyed watching this programme. I know its youtube but would be better if it was continuous rather than divided up into ten minute slots.

I love the documentary "Meanwhile Back In Sunderland".
Has anyone got a link to the documentary in full rather than in four parts?

..... and Sunderland, the underdogs, are in the lead!
