I sort of agree with it but they need to make sure the vulnerable groups are catered for.

They changed their opinions when they realised the NHS would come under stress so they are going for preventative measures with social distancing etc.

They couldn't test everyone anyway.
The UK has 65 million with about 5 million illegals.
Testing regular would be an impossibility at this moment in time.
