100,000 tests a day by the end of april - we're nowhere near 🙄

Maybe they shouldn't say things they can't carry out?
I think they proposed this, achieved it and then sat back :lolboard:

They knew fine well that people would have thought they would have to carry on doing it.
Disengenious to think otherwise

Is important?
It's a tiny number anyway and you would need testing twice a day to make sure.
It was just a token gesture to make them look like they are doing something but it's a drop in the ocean.
Besides, it was only a figure plucked out of the air, it means nothing, it could have been 5,000, 50,000, 500,000 or 5,000,000, just another number.

Then why say it? It just makes them look incompetent

Boris has said since that they wanted 200k a day.. 🙄 They just set themselves up.

To have a fully function economy we would have to have millions of tests a day.
Not sure which car factory is reopening but there's stringent tests including two temperature tests every day.
100,000 was a target to keep up with the Joneses around the world.
Simple temperature tests might be enough for ordinary people.
I have an idea, why not let Boris Johnson send us all a letter with a cheap thermometer
Or is that going to cost too much money?

You can get ones that you use without even touching you
