Even on a Sunday?
I doubt that.
We have Sunday opening hours which means the big shops can only open for 6 hours on that day.
The corner shops have no restrictions, at least that's how it appears.
Big queues at b&m again, either side of the water, yet pound land next door you can go straight in... Wonder why that was?
Then I found out, all their stock of dettol wipes had gone, makes sense that they'd ransack b&m instead. Must have just been a coincidence though, surely?

Haway man, would you really queue to get in the pound shops .... really
People go in the poundshops and usually know what they want and so are in and out.
Compare that to B&M and people usually have a good look around so are in there a lot longer.

There's some good stuff in the cheap shops but some things are a pound when they are cheaper elsewhere.
Very true.
I don't get paracetamol there because they have their packets on the shelves with a pound sign.
Since you can only buy 2 packets at a time and assuming it's buy one and get one free that would make them 50p when you can pick them up for 17p.
That's only one example of many.
