Ants are taking over
A swarm of flying ants about 50 miles wide was mistaken for rain-clouds on the south coast by the weather people.
I have noticed a massive increase in these creatures, use ant killer and they go quiet for a while but then re-emerge from the ground.
Once we all die out due to coronavirus, I think these things will take over.

Re: Ants are taking over
A few months ago I noticed a line about 15 feet long and varying in width in the garden.
The grass was a different colour than the rest along this line.
Looking at it, I noticed that the ground was slightly lower on that line and I initially thought is was a collapsed drain or similar and left it.
Anyway, I went to cut the grass the other day and in various places along this line was ant mounds and loads of activity and eggs etc.
Looks like ants had made this line - 15 feet long and pretty wide

They are hardy and know how to live as a community in harmony unlike humans who constantly fight.

There must be a way.
They seem to go into some isolating defence mode underground then come back out again.

I think chain would be a lot bigger
It makes sense if you think about it because they are very clever but possibly lack the size to be able to really dominate.
The Tardigrade creatures will ensure life on earth continues long after we are gone because they are absolute survivors. They might not dominate but they will surely ensure that life here will stay until the earth has been totally destroyed.

They can survive in space, that's tough.Crawford wrote: โ20 Jul 2020, 11:56I think chain would be a lot bigger
