Couldn't take his drink
Last night in the petrol station on Thompson's Road a drunk lad was being served and while waiting for his change he turned to me and wanted to shake my hand and came towards me
I said "please keep your distance".
Him, "why".
Me, "because of coronavirus" at which point he burst out laughing and went through some stupid routine by slapping his knees.
It went on a bit after a few others who he knew turned up, he even said to them that I said he had the clap (which I didn't).
I stood firm and they left me to pay.
If the drunken runt reads this, then I am afraid to say that not only did you show yourself up, but you can't take your beer either.
Any wonder why there was concerns about opening the pubs again with the COVID-19 pandemic still here with people like this around

Re: Couldn't take his drink
I've had similar run ins with drunk idiots.
You can't reason with them, they'll just want to fight, hopefully they bump into someone who takes no then...

If I was in a position to "get away" easily I would have videod them but I was in an uncompromising position which could have made matters worse.
I stood my ground, was polite but firm and they left me alone.

Must have been in prison.
I hope the lad reads this and realises what a plonker he has been and we have the internet to tell the world about him
