It would depend on the severity of the spike I suppose. Individual towns are locking down for around 2 weeks? So why not the whole country.

There's local lockdowns to stop a national one.

No one would be paid, as businesses won't pay for staff doing nothing, and the government won't help as they don't want to add more debt.

Its all about bits of metal and paper unfortunately
