You can but just don't kill the burglar.
Apparently you have a duty of care for them.
And how does that work?
You make them a cup of tea and then tell them to shut the door after they leave with the family silver?

Like I said earlier, make them a cup of tea.
Ridiculous

What about a good slapping :slapping:
I think these should be incorporated into the new rules.

I should think not! I know many who have and lost their badges. What are the orders for The Bridges for example.

Look big and mean and all official like then report any suspicious activity to the police.
That just about sums it all up apart from the first bit

Are these covid marshals clearly identified as such and not looking like the police?
I ask this because some of these security firms are fitting their guards up to look this way.

They will have a uniform and most people will think they have to comply with their every wishes but the police should step in and stop people looking like them!

Agree. Some of their uniforms are clearly designed to look like the police ones, it's done on purpose

Since covid marshals will be a temporary thing then why don't they have simple uniforms with a high visibility jacket and badge.
Nothing flash or copycat so that we can identify them quickly.

What was that you said again?

They copy police uniforms to portray power.
