Ps5 out on the 19th November

Post by Steve30000 »

Looks an impressive console with a lot of tech crammed into it.

Pre orders selling out on the same day, so must be really popular.

Anyone on here getting one or know someone who is?

My son is getting one if he can find one so he says.
He also reckons that this new generation of consoles will probably be the last and it will be all online gaming after this.
I remember him buying a SNES with his pocket money :o

I would imagine there's a slight improvement from previous models so good luck to those who choose to pay a fortune for that.

8k is not available and might never be :o
It's things like this that are a gimmick (for the time being maybe).

I would say so too.
Online gaming was the future and still is.

Best tell those TV manufacturers that it's just a gimmick then.

I stand corrected, I am told that those TV's are available.

However:
There's basically no 8K content (movies and TV shows) available right now and little prospect of any in the next year.
And:
Any image quality improvement we've seen required sitting very close to a very large screen.
I would think that because we are talking about saving the planet and we should all do our bit, I think I will refrain from spending money I haven't got on something I don't need.
According to the above, I definitely don't need it ;)

I meet loads of people at their homes and many are playing games online and tell me to hurry up because they are in the middle of a game, as if that makes me hurry up

Still can't get my hands on one.. There's too many people buying these pre orders up when they don't really want them imo.

You know the ones.... The ebay del boys who'll have loads of stock who'll try to sell them for double the price. T**%? +%s
